Dr. Michelle Corral Arrives in Turkey Ahead of East Africa Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference in Kampala

KAMPALA, Uganda — American televangelist and philanthropist Dr. Michelle Corral has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, on her journey to Uganda, where she is expected to headline the 3rd East Africa Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference scheduled for August 24–25, 2026.
The latest development comes just days after organisers held a press conference on August 19, where they outlined preparations for the two-day gathering and highlighted the expected participation of pastors and Christian leaders from Uganda and across the East African region.
According to Dr. Kivumbi Earnest Benjamin, President of Heal The Planet Global Organisation (HTP), Dr. Corral's arrival in Turkey marks another step in her journey to Kampala ahead of the conference.
Dr. Kivumbi said HTP, which holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations, will announce another significant development related to the conference later today, further increasing anticipation ahead of the event.
The conference is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25, at the Sharing Youth Centre in Nsambya, Kampala. Organisers say the gathering is designed to bring together hundreds of pastors and church leaders for prayer, fellowship, spiritual empowerment and discussions focused on the role of Christian leadership in East Africa.
Dr. Corral, founder and pastor of Breath of the Spirit Ministries and founder of Chesed International Charity, is an American international televangelist and philanthropist with a long record of humanitarian work. Organisers say she has travelled to more than 50 countries and supported communities affected by conflict and disasters through medical outreach, food, clothing and other humanitarian assistance.
Her expected arrival in Uganda has therefore added momentum to preparations for the conference, with organisers positioning the event as both a spiritual gathering and an opportunity for Christian leaders from different parts of East Africa to connect.
The August 19 press briefing in Nsambya provided the public with an update on preparations, while the latest announcement from Istanbul gives the conference a fresh international dimension as the main guest makes her way to Kampala.
With the opening day now approaching, attention is turning to the arrival of Dr. Corral and other delegates, as organisers finalise preparations for what they expect to be a major gathering of pastors and Christian leaders in the region.
The 3rd East Africa Fire & Anointing Pastors Conference will run from August 24 to 25 at the Sharing Youth Centre, Nsambya, Kampala.
