The 2026/27 Premier League season has just begun, with the opening round still being completed today. Arsenal lead the early standings after opening with a 3–0 victory over Coventry City, while Brentford, Everton, Hull City, Ipswich Town and Leeds United also started with wins.
The biggest shock so far is Manchester United’s 2–0 defeat to Hull City, leaving United without a point after their opening match.
Sunday's fixtures include Brighton vs Aston Villa, Manchester City vs Bournemouth and Newcastle vs Liverpool, so the table is likely to change significantly before the first matchweek is complete.
